A journey through neoclassical movement and melody. "Le Vide" is a piece meant to manifest absence, interiority, the restlessness of the body and rebirth through its expression. It aims to tell a personal story through the use of pointes and the creation of lines and shapes in space.
GEORGIA NIKOLOPOULOU
Born in Patras, she was awarded a RAD scholarship to study in Edinburgh. She graduated Greek National Opera Professional Dance School and holds all the Royal Academy of Dance diplomas. She worked in companies like State Opera Stara Zagora, Italian National Ballet and Greek National Opera in productions by Ohad Naharin, Konstantinos Rigos, Jiri Kylian etc. She won prizes and scholarships in competitions such as GIDC- China, Genée International Competition- Canada, Ukraine, Cyprus, Italy. She has been touring in Germany, Holland, Belgium.
