Patras Art Festival (PAF) returns for its 5th edition, bringing bringing with it the revitalizing energy of art under the theme “break through". For six days, Patras becomes a stage of creativity—filled with dynamic performances, educational workshops and activities that highlight the power of dance, movement and the body.
PAF is not just a festival—it is a space where art becomes a medium of communication and discovery, promoting universal accessibility to culture. It welcomes all social groups, free from stereotypes and exclusions, offering an immersive experience that inspires, moves, and redefines the boundaries of expression.
As the festival’s artistic director, Eirini Apostolatou, explains, “break through” symbolizes a pivotal moment of change, transformation, and discovery—a rupture that leads to something new. It is the rebirth of the body and the self, a connection with ascension, reinvention and the leap beyond limits. It speaks to the intensity of the body and the renewal born from pain and rupture—a journey of transcendence that empowers and offers a new perspective.
