DANCE WORKSHOP FOR KIDS

Through movement games and improvisations, guided by the basic principles of contemporary dance and elements from body percussion, we will activate our bodies, interact, and move in all directions and levels. We will balance, fall, twist, tangle, roll, play with rhythm, and above all, dance in the here and now.

A dance workshop for children aged 8-12, with or without previous dance experience.

KATERINA KAIMA

Katerina Kaima graduated from the Department of Primary Education and the Higher Professional Dance School "Aktina." She continued her studies with a postgraduate degree in Special Education. She completed the Flower Kids Yoga Teacher Training, Aerial Flow & Acrobatics Teacher Training, Balanced Body Pilates Instructor Training, and seminars at the International Dance Week Budapest.

Among other activities, she participated in the performance "Re-define my home" by Olga Spiraki, the educational part of the work "Mount" by Vitoria Kotsalou, the play "404 Permission Not Found" by Konstantina Dtinapogia, at the festival of OPANDA, at the 1st Patras Art Festival with the work "Ypo/moni," in the theatrical performances of the ANADAMA troupe "Do you dance?" directed by Danae Katsameni and "Asteroid 2467K" directed by Georgia Kaouki, and in the children's theater performance "Chained Elephant" directed by Eleni Karamouzi.

She conducted the movement workshop for people with disabilities "Everything around me dances" at the 3rd PAF. She participated with the video dance work "The Children of Autumn" at the 13th Athens Video Dance Project and the 3rd PAF, and with the video dance work "Big Kids" at the 14th Athens Video Project.

She teaches dance, movement, Pilates, and aerial hammock to adults and children.
